Ana Arjol: “Taking photos is my passion”

Anna Arjol describes her greatest passion and shows us the whole process she has undergone to reach the Centre Escolar Empordà. “It’s been hard, but it’s worth it”. She describes her long journey to be one more teacher in our school this way.

-What did you study?

Well, I have studied a degree in visual communication and a master’s in corporate communication.

-What are you duties at school?

My job at school is as a digital marketing teacher, I also take visual communication and advertising electives. I also take care of the school’s communication, that is to say, social networks, web…

-What do you like the most about your job?

What I like the most about my job is to teach things related to daily life such as communication campaigns, my experiences …

-What do you want to convey through the image?

Well, I want to show that everything can be expressed, such as stories, feelings, thoughts, beliefs through the image.

-How do you think communication has changed over the years? In what ways?

Well, communication used to be much more personal in the past, and now that we use more comunicative devices such as the phone it’s easier to say things, for example, do you prefer to send an email or to chat by phone?

– We prefer by email

Of course, that’s what people usually say, because sending an email is much easier than talking to that person, and because you can talk to anyone without any embarrassment writing.
