Núria Parnau: “To express their own feelings by images and not words”

CEE incorporates the artistic baccalaureate

The artistic baccalaureate has been inaugurated this year. Is one new modality apart from the previous ones, which are technological, scientific and social. Miss Nuria Parnau is one of the main teachers in this modality and she shares with our digital newspaper her impressions.A new class has been created to teach subjects related to the artistic world.

–Do you think that building that classroom has been a good change for the school.

This new classroom is very important, in fact, with all the renovations, it feels more spacious. 

–How many people can attend this classroom?

This is a place where there are often more than 30 people.

–Do you think this new furniture has helped the new baccalaureate?

Yes, because, it is a classroom where, with the new furniture they have bought, we can fold the tables, leave all the space empty and then we take the easels and we can do naturally and still life drawing from the easel, which is where you learn to paint the most. 

–What features would you highlight in this new classroom?

It’s a very bright, very pleasant and very spacious classroom, and when all the teachers saw it renovated, they wanted to teach there.

–Which teachers apart from you do this baccalaureate?

As far as I know, this high school has teachers who teach the more common subjects, such as history, philosophy, the teachers who teach English, languages, this whole section. And after that, more specialized teachers are Anna Arjol who does advertising and fMiss Rosa Carreres who does technical drawing, while I do artistic drawing and visual culture.

–Do you think this new branch has help the students who didn’t know what to do in the future, does if it gives more output and is it interesting??

Yes, I believe that in a world in which everything is based on the image, that is to say, that everything is based on images, these students will be able to use them to express their own feelings by images and not words, photography , the cinemas are super persuasive, it’s the era of the series.

–Do you think this new high school gives different exits?

Well, I think this high school gives many opportunities, since from this point of departure, they can go on to do any career, for example: beauty arts, advertising, marketing they can do film, they can do 3D design, they can do video game design, they can do anything.
