What career did you study? How many years have you devoted to it?
First I studied business for three years at the UDG, then I studied economics at the UAB for 2 years and finally I did a master’s in business organization that lasted 2 more years at the UPC (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya).
What does the position of director consist of?
Broadly speaking, the functions of the management are on the one hand to ensure that the school fulfills its educational project and its mission and vision of the center and on the other hand, the economic and human resources management of the cooperative.
How many years has you been in this position?
I have been director since 2000, that is for 22 years.
Do you like what you are doing?
Yes, I really like what I’m doing.
How did they choose you to be the director of this center?
The governing council proposed it to me and then I decided to accept.
Did you work at this center before becoming director?
Yes, I worked as an administrator and also taught at the school.
Who was your mentor?
Governing council and the previous management, Mrs. Anna Maci, who helped all of us who were here.
Do you think it’s a very demanding job?
There are two parts. A part that is very bureaucratic and a teaching part.
Do you like to combine the position of director with that of teacher?
Yes, because I think that everyone has to do some classes so that you don’t get away from the day to day. The students are also changing and you have to see the teaching of those who are here.
